THE EXTREMATION POBLATION

Extremadura's population will grow by 0.29 percent over the next ten years. One of the conclusions of the study 'population projections 2010-2020 for groups municipal Extremadura', which has developed the Statistical Institute of Extremadura (IEEX) under the Board.
This is a job that collects and analyzes demographic variables, in order to project the evolution of the regional population in the next decade.
This data on growth that will occur in the decade is based on showing that throughout this period the birth rate down, which will rise from 9.62 percent today to 7.97%, while it will grow at 0 , 92% of deaths. The end result of this development would result in a total population of 1,086,021 inhabitants in 2020, about 3,000 people more than they are now.
The bulk of that population will have a mature age, as the most significant growth will occur among those 50 to 65. In contrast, the stretch of 16 to 29, will be reduced by almost 19 percent (18.88%).
There will, however, an evolution of geographically different populations will be positive in the capital, Tierra de Barros, Vegas del Guadiana, Lácara South, Campo Arañuelo and Jerte Valley, while negative expected Villuercas-Ibores-Jara, Siberia, Sierra de San Pedro, La Serena and Montánchez.
